Propellerhead (Reason Studios) ReBirth RB-338 forever will have a warm place in my heart. It was one of the very first virtual instruments I was exposed to as a teenager and it opened my mind and soul to the amazing possibilities of synths and drum machines as a way of self expression. This video is a short tribute with the attempt to recreate this legendary software that was based on the legendary gears from Roland, the TB-303, TR-808 & TR-909. The gears that help shaped and define electronic music through the 80s & 90s and still keep doing so until today.
